The ancient god Mau’i was sometimes called Maui of the Thousand Tricks – hence the name “The Magic Isle”. But for those who live on Mau’i, magic is everywhere. For instance, is there any other place in the Hawaiian chain where you can watch the sunrise on top of the world’s largest dormant volcano? Maui can boast about the 30 miles of white sand beaches, countless waterfalls seen from the road to Hana, and humpback whales breaching in the calm waters between Maui and Molokai.
Mau’i has so much to offer groups of all sizes and interests. Lahaina is full of great restaurants, art galleries, and entertainment venues. Ka’anapali is known for its beautiful white-sand beaches, resorts, and shopping. Kapalua, has some of Mau’i’s finest golf courses and historic sites. Wailea has award-winning hotels, dining establishments, perfect weather and upscale boutique shopping.
What do groups want to do on Mau’i? Rent cars to explore the island on their own, snorkel cruises to Molokini or around Lana’i, helicopter rides over Haleakala and Hana, Zip-line through tree tops, hike into the rainforest and swim under a waterfall, golfing on some of the most beautiful courses in the world and catching rays at the beach.
